BUKU PRODUCTIONS THEATRE COMPANY’s award-winning theatrical presentations are the attraction that gets patrons out and allows us to expose them to your product.  Your tax-deductible contribution puts your company and your product face-to-face with our clientele, a 40’s plus demographic of diverse patrons, especially African American women.

Our Artistic Director, REUBEN YABUKU, directed August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize Winning script and Tony Award-Winning play, FENCES, at Detroit Repertory Theatre in 1990 and again in ’98.  With his guidance, the Detroit Rep productions went on to win Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Play awards from the Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News and Detroit Repertory Theatre Subscriber Awards.
